Wow, 2020 has been quite the year – and it’s not over yet.
Even if you don’t have kids, you could well be getting that dreaded “back to school” feeling. And it’s no surprise.
This year has thrown a giant flaming curveball at the world. After the urgent rush to work from home in March, many businesses now have some staff still at home. Others are still in the office, but for how long? With remote working looking like it’s set to become “the new normal”, it’s anyone’s guess what the average workplace will look like this time next year.
So, as the world braces itself to find out what the final three months of this crazy year have to offer, it’s time to plan ahead. There’s never been a better time to ensure that your team is equipped with the tools they need to work from anywhere, on any device, at any time.
Even if the dreaded Covid-19 hadn’t ever happened, enabling people to work from home makes good business sense. With the right technology, you’ll be able to benefit from maximum flexibility and minimum future disruption – and that’s great at any time, not just when disaster strikes.
Right now, more people are venturing to shops, pubs, restaurants and back to the office. There’s a palpable mixture of excitement and anxiety in the air, with all sorts of questions popping up, like:
- Are all the correct safety measures in place?
- Will things still feel the same?
- How am I going to go back to the old routine after months working in pyjamas?
- Is the office ready to be used again?
- Will some people struggle with going back to the office?
- How’s the dog going to be able to cope with an empty house again?
- Is our technology up to the job?
There are countless questions, and if you’re worried, you’re not alone. But as ever, we’re here to help.
We’ve put together a brand new guide to show you the most important things you need to know about creating a permanent flexible working arrangement for your employees
